Hundreds may say I’m disgusting, weird and useless,

Adults say I’m a child making silly excuses,

My point of view? I’m like that because of what I’ve been through.

Perfect Princess’s say that I’m not pretty enough,

Strong independent people say I’m not so tough,

But in my point of view, It’s because me and sadness are stuck like glue.

Intelligent and bright people say I’m worthless and stupid,

The big and powerful say I’m a weak little bird,

Look at it from my point of view. It’s because of the happiness I never knew.

In my point of view, It’s because of the many nights I’ve cried,

Or because I’m destroyed on the inside,

Or maybe that depression feels me to my core.

In my point of view, you have no clue

Of what’s behind my closed door.
